AZORIAN Pharma, LLC is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement for an exclusive co-promotion with SALERNO Pharmaceuticals, for the right to commercialize FLOLIPID™ Oral Suspension (simvastatin), the FIRST and ONLY FDA-approved liquid statin for cholesterol treatment.

Los Angeles, CA, September 1, 2022 – AZORIAN Pharmaceuticals a privately held healthcare company specializing in the commercialization of market ready and pre-market branded pharmaceuticals. Azorian has entered into an exclusive marketing, supply and commercialization agreement (the “Agreement”) with SALERNO Pharmaceuticals for the US rights to FLOLIPIDTM (simvastatin), an oral solution for the treatment of cholesterol. FloLipid is the first and only FDA approved liquid oral version of the statin medicine simvastatin.

FloLipid is taken orally as a liquid and is available is 20mg/150mL and 40mg/150mL formulations, thus filling that important void in treatment where patients may have difficulty swallowing pills. FloLipid requires no refrigeration, and the formulation is a smooth liquid/syrup consistency and texture with a pleasant strawberry flavor
